Hello everyone! It’s been a while since we last posted, but we wanted to let everyone know about a couple upcoming 16mm programs that have roots in the Nyback Archive!
Tuesday, July 15th @ 7pm – CLINTON ST. THEATER

TRAILERMANIA RETURNS TO THE CLINTON FROM THE GREAT BEYOND!
Join us at the Clinton Street Theater for an evening of wild science fiction, grindhouse and horror movie trailers PROJECTED FROM 16mm Film!
Whether it’s body snatchers, vampires or men from Mars, you’ll see some classic movie ads from the 1930s through the 60s, featuring some of the most influential cinema of both genres. Travel back in time, beware the moon, visit strange new worlds, and scare your pants off with this vintage journey into the creepy and unknown.
TRAILERMANIA is an ongoing 16mm project created by Portland film archivist Greg Hamilton. He has been sharing original, hand-assembled, hour-long 16mm movie trailer programs to Portlanders for the past 20 years, featuring genre favorites, actor tributes and a bizarre array of fringe cinema artifacts. He is also the creator of the PSYCHOTRONIC AFTER SCHOOL SPECIAL and co-curator of the THE NYBACK SHOW.
