Join us again at the Hollywood Theatre for the return of THE NYBACK SHOW, a 16mm film program that highlights films from the world-class archive assembled by the late-great Portland film programmer Dennis Nyback!

The Nyback film archive contains thousands of titles assembled over forty years of personal film curation. Full of mind-blowing 16mm gems, it is one of the most important private film collections in the U.S., spanning over 120 years of cinema history and containing many of the original programs that Dennis toured around the world.

With everything from rare musical performances, vintage commercials, documentary shorts and international animation, the Nyback collection is a true cultural time capsule and one of Portland’s most unique cinema resources.
