Celebrating Dennis Nyback’s Birthday with a variety program from his vast archive. PROGRAM THEME: The Sign of the Times

Join us at the NYBACK ARCHIVE to celebrate the birthday of legendary film curator Dennis Nyback. Along with cake and presents, we’ll have two projectors that will be ping-ponging carefully curated films in a variety program mined from the archive. The theme for our celebration will be A SIGN OF THE TIMES, an interpretive exploration of today’s culture, morality and politics through the medium of 16mm film. Much like Dennis did with his underground programs, this will be a one-of-a-kind show that celebrates the spirit of Nyback and shows that his legacy lives on in the next generation.
